BSc (Hons) Bioveterinary Science offers an in-depth understanding of animal biology, health, and disease and animal welfare and behaviour, covering a range of species and aiming to prepare students for careers in research, diagnostics, and animal health industries by integrating core scientific principles with hands-on experience in our new laboratory. 

We also have programmes that offer a rigorous and practical education for those aspiring to become a registered veterinary nurse, and students will be able to gain the competencies required to provide high-quality nursing care through a combination of classroom instruction, clinical placements, and hands-on training. 

Access to Higher Education: Landbased Studies allows students to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue careers in various animal industries, or to be able to progress to higher education. The Access to Higher Education: Veterinary Science is designed to enable entry to numerous vet schools in England. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving industry, incorporating the latest scientific advancements and technologies. Learners also have the opportunity to engage with guest lecturers and attend educational conferences, enhancing their practical experience and professional development.
