Monday 8 June – Saturday 13 June 2009 10.00 am – 4.00 pm front block floors 1 and 2

The College of West Anglia, King’s Lynn Campus is hosting an Art and Design Exhibition next week. Join us for a visual celebration of our student’s achievement and a showcase of creative work, providing a new dimension to design – imagination, inspiration and innovation! The show has become an annual event at the King’s Lynn Campus, and offers members of the public a rare opportunity to visit the art and design studios to experience the type of work undertaken by our students aged 16 to 60 on both part-time and full-time courses.

The show will feature work from art and design, graphics, textiles, printmaking, jewellery, photography, 3D ceramics and sculpture. The exhibition celebrates the success of all our students completing their studies this year, from a wide range of programmes, a culmination in most cases, of two years hard work – of which they should be proud.

Emma Forrest Leigh, Programme Manager Art and Design said, “The department moves from strength to strength thanks to the tireless efforts of the teaching team to provide a creative, motivational environment to work in. In response students are producing some of the most exciting and diverse work we have seen in years”.

The exhibition will take place in a dedicated block just by reception spreading over 2 floors anyone is welcome to visit the exhibition between Monday 8th June - Saturday 13 June 2009 10 - 4pm.
