The College of West Anglia, King’s Lynn Campus Plumbing department have taken further steps towards establishing a continental Comenius project with yet another college 'Lycee Le Corbusier' in France.
A party of three senior lecturers from there visited The College of West Anglia on the 23rd June with a view to joining the Comenius project, a European funded project that requires at least three European countries to work together on a teaching and learning project. It will ultimately involve exchange visits for students and staff involved to other participating countries.
Tom Griffiths, Plumbing Lecturer said, “We currently have within the project ‘The Heinrich hertz berufskolleg’ of Bonn, Germany and the 'Lycee Le Corbusier' and forthcoming interest from a college in Poland and Holland. Following this visit, all colleges within the project will have a mini summit meeting in the autumn to finalise the details.” Tom continued with, “The project will take the form of short films discussing and highlighting vocational exercises. Further contact with student-to-student e-mail course discussions will also re-enforce wider enrichment for all students linked with the project.”
