Building for your future

CWA is in the process of a £25m redevelopment of the King's Lynn and Isle campuses. This involves the refurbishment of several existing buildings as well as new technology centres in King's Lynn and Wisbech.

King's Lynn - Technology Centre. A brand new £5.8m technology centre is scheduled to open in summer 2012, with facilities for engineering, electronics, CAD / CAM, carpentry & joinery and science.

King's Lynn - Tower Block refurbishment.
Plans have been submitted for a complete refurbishment of the nine-storey building, the largest educational building in the region. The refurbishment plans include replacing all the windows and re-cladding the whole exterior as well as building an extension to the ground floor to house new restaurant and social facilities for students. The internal works will include complete new floor layouts as well as new heating, lighting and elevator systems. The work will cost over £10m and is expected to be completed by summer 2013.

Isle campus, Wisbech - Technology Centre - A brand new £7.2m technology centre is scheduled for completion by Easter 2013, with facilities for motor sport, mechanical engineering, welding, motor vehicle, plumbing and electrical installation.
