Health & Social Care Academy - Level 2 (Adults)

As part of the programme you will have the opportunity to meet with local care employers and support to prepare for interview.

Topics covered include conditions affecting older people, how to support people with age related additional needs, professional communication skills, moving and assisting patients and how to assist service users with activities of daily living.

There are no formal entry requirements.

This course will run between 10th and 14th June. It is a mixture of online and face to face

Meet the employers day will be held on 5th July.

What qualification will I achieve?

At the end of the course you will gain a level 2 award in Care of the Elderly and will be ready to embark on the care certificate, a qualification nationally recognised by health and social care employers.
