Business Management and Administration - T Level - Level 3
During the 2-year programme, you will develop the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of management and administration occupations.

Course Description
Our new T Level in management and administration is designed by key employers to prepare you for work further training or study.
Core Content
You will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, including:
- business context an overview of organisational cultures and values, different types of internal and external stakeholder, different forms of governance and the impact of organisations on society and the environment
- project and change management an understanding of the common change management theories and models and how to support and improve projects
- business behaviours the importance of good communication and adapting social communication styles to professional standards and according to purpose, medium and audience
- quality and compliance the importance of maintaining and improving quality in all aspects of public and private sector organisations
Industry placement
A big part of your study will be to complete relevant industry-based work placement. Throughout the course, you'll be required to complete a minimum of 45 days (315 hours) work placement. You'll also get the opportunity to show us what you've learned and demonstrate your abilities during numerous observations through the course. Employers can offer industry placements as a block, day release or a mix of these and you'll be making a meaningful contribution with that organisation - spending timing learning and working.
Work placement is a great opportunity to get your feet wet in your chosen specialism and help confirm that this is the career you want to do!

Entry Requirements
You will need:
- GCSE English at grade 5
- at least 4 more GCSEs at grade 4 or higher, including maths
This course is only funded and available for those aged 16-18. However, our equivalent level 3 course, Access to Higher Education - Business is designed specifically for adults.

What qualification will I achieve?
T Level Technical Qualification (TQ) in Management and Administration
How is my course assessed?
Your core (Management & Administration) component is assessed through two exam papers and externally set project by the employer. These will be graded A* - E.
Your occupational specialism component as assessed by an externally set assignment. This will be graded pass, merit or distinction.
How many UCAS points will I achieve on this course?
The number of UCAS tariff points for a T Level diploma varies between 72 and 168 points, depending on your grade for the core content and the specialism. We've included some examples below of what grades you need to achieve common UCAS tariff point entry requirements:
