Access Courses

The Access to Higher Education (HE) Diploma is a qualification aimed at over 19s which prepares students for study at degree level. It is designed for people who want to go on to university or take another HE course but who left school without the usual qualifications (eg A levels) required for entry to HE.

Access courses have varying entry requirements and are usually taken in one academic year. Many Access to HE students go on to succeed at university and beyond, with a large number pursuing new careers and seeing changes in their lives that they had never thought possible.
