Microsoft Accredited Training
The College of West Anglia is proud to be a certified Microsoft training centre and is currently offering three new qualifications:
- Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2013
- Introduction to Microsoft Word 2013
- Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint and OneNote 2013
What are the Microsoft qualifications?
These courses are part of a suit of courses covering various industry recognised examinations enabling learners to become a Certified Microsoft Office Specialist Master (MOS). The course will be delivered in CWA’s new Microsoft Show Classroom with accesses to specialist online learning materials through Microsoft Imagine Academy.
How do they run?
The courses will be delivered over ten weeks, mainly online, but with three tutorial sessions in the college’s specialist Microsoft classroom and with tutor support throughout. The tutorial sessions will be between the hours of 18:00 and 20:00 in week 1, to ensure access to the online resources and contact details for your tutor are initialised, in week 5, to ensure progress is being made, and finally in week 10 for exam preparation.
What do they cost?
Each course is £120 per person, which includes practice tests and exam entrance (exam resits incur an additional fee of £30 per exam).
