Equestrian Centre

The College of West Anglia’s Equestrian Centre, housed at our Cambridge campus, is home to a wide variety of facilities including a 30-stable yard, a 30m x 60m Charles Britton outdoor arena, a 20m x 40m indoor arena and our Equine Therapy Centre.

Our Equestrian Centre is a BHS Highly Commended examination centre, Approved Riding Establishment and Approved Training Centre. We are also affiliated to various equestrian governing bodies including British Dressage, British Show Jumping, the Pony Club, National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) and British Equestrian Vaulting (BEV).

In addition to being used by our students, the Equestrian Centre facilities are also open to the public and we offer a range of services including riding lessons, equestrian clinics, Cambridge Vaulting Club, CWAGG Riding Club, arena hire, BHS Training, laundry services, clipping services and equine therapies.

Our Cambridgeshire Horse Sport Academy (CHSA) is based at the Equestrian Centre and offers activities across a wide range of equestrian disciplines including; dressage, showjumping, vaulting, side saddle, driving, polocrosse, horse agility and showing.

Most activities at the Equestrian Centre can be booked and paid for online via our store.
