Fees and Financial Support
The amount of fees payable and financial help available depends on individual circumstances and the course you wish to enrol on. The information below is given as a general guide. For more information please contact student services.
Full time course fees
If you are under 19 on 31st August in the year you begin your course and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years, you will not have to pay any tuition, administration or examination fees. Some courses will have additional costs for things such as materials, external trips or specialist equipment.
Part time course fees
Only some part time courses are available to students aged under 19, and this also depends on whether you are already in full time education. Please contact student services for more details.
EMA and the Learner Support Fund
The government has now ended the EMA scheme. However, the college now has an enhanced learner support fund. The Learner Support Fund can help eligible students with costs related to their course such as uniforms, kits, trips and materials. The Learner Support Fund can also offer cash payments to eligible students. You can apply as soon as you have been offered a place on a full-time course.
