School Leavers - Aged 14-17 and thinking about what to do after your GCSEs

Students Union

The College of West Anglia has its very own Student's Union. We are affiliated to the National Union of Students, (NUS), which means we belong to one of the largest student organisations in the world. The Students Union aims to bring a little more diversity to your time here at college by giving you the opportunity to get involved and it has representatives at all of the campuses.

The Students Union organises lots of events and activities such as:

  • Regular trips, (Alton Towers, Clothes Show etc).

  • Parties.

  • Fund-raising events for charity, (Children In Need, Comic Relief plus many more).

  • Awareness and information sessions on all sorts of issues.

  • Help with funding special, course-related projects.

  • Hold regular meetings of students to get the students voice heard.

  • End-of-year Summer Ball.

You can get involved in all sorts of ways from being on the Executive Committee and helping to run the Students Union, or by simply coming to one of the many parties and information sessions. Just make sure you do get involved.
