Graphic Design and Photography

Graphic designers are visual artists who use their creative skills and computer know-how to develop images and designs to promote products and services in the commercial world. A photographer produces images that tell a story, record an event, record evidence or communicate a message. Professional photographers blend creativity and a good eye with technical expertise.

Success Story

Paul Tibbs

Photography - Level 3

Paul attended CWA from 1996 to 1999, and currently runs his own photography business in West Norfolk. In addition to landscape, wedding and corporate photography, Paul is also an editorial photographer, regularly supplying images to local press including Your Local Paper.

Paul said: “The course gave me the practical experience of dealing with many different types of photography and hands on experience in a fully equipped photographic studio and darkroom. It expanded my knowledge and gave me more confidence in my ability. CWA offered an environment that t was better than school; I felt like I was an adult - I couldn't recommend it more. I was being taught something I wanted to learn by people who wanted to teach it. I have made lifelong friends and, without the qualifications and experience I got at college, I wouldn't have been able to get to where I am today."
