Charlie studied Access to Higher Education in Business at the College of West Anglia.

Charlie recalled, “The facilities were good, the tutors were excellent, and I was provided with continuous support throughout the year. The start of the course is designed to introduce teaching at a steady pace, to ensure everyone is comfortable with all course material. My presentation skills excelled studying at CWA, which prepared me for university. I really enjoyed the presentation tasks. The style of teaching helped me hit the ground running when I started university. The tutors had a lot of industry knowledge, which was extremely useful to hear and learn from throughout the course.

The access course gave me a second chance of getting in a highly respected university. It allowed me to develop my academic skills and enabled me to meet some fantastic people. I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone looking to further their education.

On completion of this course, I went on to study BA (Hons) Business Management at the University of Sheffield. I am currently in the position of commercial manager at the Ministry of Justice and through this profession, I am studying to become a chartered member of the CIPS board.”
