Celebrating Mentors

Ella Fuller

ellaElla began her NCS journey as a participant in Easter 2014, embracing what NCS offers and giving all of herself to the ethos and values that the programme delivers.

After successfully graduating, Ella has not missed the opportunity to attend a wave as a ‘mentor’ and volunteers regularly.

Ella is known by her support and encouragement towards other participants to gain as much from their own NCS journey as she did. She has grown in both confidence and maturity and has developed skills that she will use and transfer into in the world of work such as empathy, leadership and innovation.

Ella is a shining example of what NCS can really do for a young person and we are proud to have her as our first NCS Mentor graduate.

Klaudio Hacaj

klaudioKlaudio Hacaj has demonstrated incredible maturity, leadership and organisation as he has progressed from a Graduate into Mentor.

Klaudio’s approach to other young people demonstrates a genuine interest and compassion towards supporting their progress and experience. He is attuned to the demands and rigour of NCS and embodies its values and ethos. Klaudio is a great leader of peers and is a fantastic encourager for those anxious or fearful of trying something very challenging.

With English as a second language Klaudio has used NCS to develop these skills and as a result has improved his employability. Always professional, Klaudio is held in high esteem by his leaders who willingly give him the capacity to lead sessions and set the agenda.

She demonstrated her determination by attending all available training and supporting her teams completing their NCS journey as well as their social action projects.

Beth never fails to amuse us with her great sense of humour and enthusiasm. She has grown into a pleasant young lady, and is a pleasure to have on our team!
