|Motorsport - Level 2|
If you are interested in working in motorsport, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to kickstart your career.
The course offers a comprehensive grounding in theoretical and practical aspects of motorsport vehicle repair. This includes aspects of customer care and health and safety as well as the vocational aspects related to engines, electrical units, chassis units and transmission units. Bodywork options are also available. 50% of learning outcomes and assessments are workshop-based activities.
Level 2 Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Motorsport)
Students aged 16 to 18 who do not already have GCSE qualifications in maths and/or English at grades A*-C will take qualifications in English and/or maths as part of their vocational study programme - this is a government requirement.
You will need 4 or more GCSEs at grade 3 or higher, or a relevant level 1 qualification.
You will be invited to an interview to help us ensure the course is right for you.
A portfolio of practical and theory based exercises will be produced. In addition, there are externally set on-line tests to complete.
