Course fees

The amount of course fees payable depends on individual circumstances and the course you wish to enrol on. The information below is given as a general guide; for full information, please contact student services.

Full-time course fees

Costs for full time courses vary depending on your age and the course you are studying – our fee calculator allows you to enter your individual details for guidance on course fees.

Learners aged under 19

If you are 16, 17 or 18 years old on the 31st August in the year you begin your course, you will not have to pay a course fee. Some courses will have additional costs for things such as clothing, materials, external trips or specialist equipment; we send details of these to students before enrolment.

The college operates a Learner Support Fund which can help students whose financial circumstances make it difficult for them to meet the costs associated with study – find out more here.

Learners aged 19+

Fees vary for those aged 19+ depending on your individual circumstances and the course you are studying. For detailed fee information for learners aged 19+ please see our adult learning fees page  and use our fee calculator for further information. If you are thinking about studying a level 3 course, and are:
– aged 19 or older and already have a level 3 qualification or
– are aged 24 or older
you may be qualify for a Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost of the course fees.

Part-time course fees

Learners aged under 19

Only some part-time courses are available to students aged under 19, and this also depends on whether you are already in full time education. Please contact student services for more details.
