This one day qualification covers the most commonly faced canine emergencies such as how to treat an injury, bandage wounds, allergic reactions, strings, poisoning, choking, seizures and CPR.
This course will run on different days throughout the academic year at our Cambridge campus located in Milton. The course is taught face-to-face over one day (9am - 6pm) in our clinical skills lab. The lab has state-of-the-art equipment that is used for veterinary nursing training. and the course will be delivered by vets and veterinary nurses.
There are two assessments which must be passed to achieve the qualification:
- A written assessment (a workbook)
- Practical observation / assessment of three first aid procedures
